Everything in Whyzer starts with an account. Hit the search bar at the top, or press Command-K from anywhere, and search by company name, stock ticker, or LinkedIn URL. The ticker and LinkedIn options matter more than they sound: they get you to the right entity when the company name is generic or shared by three other businesses.
When a company isn't there yet
Private companies, newer startups, and regional businesses won't always be in the database. When search comes up empty, you can add the company yourself and Whyzer will start building its research page. It takes a few minutes on first run, since it's pulling filings, news, and web research from scratch.
Public companies come with more depth out of the box: financials, SEC filings, and earnings calls. Private companies get what's publicly available, which is usually news, hiring signals, and web presence. Neither is worse, they're just different starting points.
Switching between accounts
The company you have selected is the context for everything else: Research, Deal Map, POV Studio, the chat panel. If a page looks like it's showing the wrong account, check the company selector before assuming something broke.
Adding new companies counts against a monthly allowance.
